I have extensive experience representing municipalities as their legal advisor including
City of Akron,
City of Oakwood,
City of Miamisburg,
City of Centerville,
City of Beavercreek,
City of Huber Heights
City of Dayton.
In addition, I have successfully defended municipalities and governmental entities who have been sued; in jury trials in federal court and jury trials in multiple state courts. Knowing what to expect in complex municipal litigation is invaluable to advise how to avoid the situation in the first place.
In representing cities, I have performed many functions including: drafting ordinances and resolutions, preparing opinion letters, annexation, risk management, employment issues, civil rights, zoning, Constitutional issues and strategic planning among many more.
I was taught and believe that being a lawyer is a privilege that carries a concomitant duty to give back both to one’s profession but to his community through public service.
